LG ThermaV systems are LG's latest entry into the air source heat pump market.  Identifying the obvious benefits of having a split system heat pump over the traditional monobloc system mounted entirely outside, they have launched their fantastic ThermaV range of heat pumps.  The ThermaV heat pump can be integreated into an existing house or be fitted into a full home renovation, the Lg ThermaV system can be used a fully stand alone system or be used in conjunction with an existing gas or oil fired boiler, being set to alternate according to the external temperature.

The LG ThermaV system has a COP as high as 4.5, meaning you could potentially be acheiving 450% efffiency, or to put it in a money term - for every £1 of electric you put into it, you will be getting £4.50 worth of heat out it, this makes the system comparable with gas heating and beats electric and oil heating systems hands down.  The cost of electric is stablising due to more renewable energy sources being applied to producing our home electric supply, making this an obvious choice for anyone who is replacing a gas boiler or renovating a house.

Unlike many of the leading brands heat pump controls the ThermaV system works off a simple control panel, allowing the user to programme the system down to very precise measures, but keeping it as simple as possible for the end user to control, with a built in emergency operation function it makes the system safe to use right the way through the cold winter months.
