How do the Domestic Dehumidifiers work?

All of the domestic dehumidifiers are compressor powered, the compressor dehumidifier works much in the same way as an air conditioning unit.  Refrigerant is pumped around a system of copper pipes, getting hot at one side and cold at another, water will condense on the cold section of the pipes, much like condensation on the outside of a glass when there is a cold drink inside it.  This does however mean that the colder it is in the room, the less water can be collected from the air because there is a much smaller difference between ambient and coil temperature.  This makes the domestic dehumidifier the best dehumidifier to use in a room that is constantly going to be constantly heated.

How should I use my Domestic Dehumidifiers?

The best way to use one of our domestic dehumidifiers is to place it in the room you are having the most trouble with and leave it in there for about 24 hours, once it has taken enough moisture out of the air you can move it into any other room with a humidity problem, then the dehumidifier can be placed centrally in the house to draw the excess moisture out of the other rooms in the house and through the dehumidifier, creating a natural balance of moisture throughout the whole house. Because they work best in warm rooms, these dehumidifiers should be used most when the heating is on in the room, typically over the day rather than overnight.  They are the best dehumidifiers to dry out a whole house quickly a they can take out much more moisture from the air than the desiccant dehumidifiers at the right conditions.
